Apple Day at Pharsalia is a great way to spend a day in the country with your family!

LEARN ABOUT APPLES with TALKS and DEMONSTRATIONS happening throughout the day, such as: cider pressing by John Hoskins, antique apple tasting by orchard consultant and “Professor Apple” Mr. Tom Burford, view the vast display of antique apple peelers by Richard Jaques, enjoy apple treats from our own 1800’s hearth kitchen and more!

 HOUSE TOURS of Pharsalia’s original manor house will be offered once per hour on the half hour.

 ENJOY lunch by The Hungry Fox, mulled cider, desserts, apple butter.  Enjoy the grounds of Pharsalia with its stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Tye River valley and its surrounding orchards and vineyards.  Also, we will have Angora Rabbits and products here as well as pony and farm animals to pet! 

ADMISSION: Day of event: $5 per person, children under 6 years old free.  Parking free in farm field lot below. Walk up hill to event. Golf carts available for shuttle.

Same day event: PICK-YOUR-OWN-APPLES offered by Silver Creek Orchards on Pharsalia Road so make a day of it!
