Herb Day with Don Haynie

Explore the wonderful world of herbs that will add zip to your food and diverse interest to your garden. These easy-care plants will bring you years of enjoyment.

Healthy cooking can start from purchases made locally at the farmers market, or from  goods harvested from your own garden. Though growing your own vegetables can be a challenge, anyone can grow culinary herbs. Using herbs is a wonderful way to deliciously augment any healthy cooking. Discover the joy of growing, harvesting and using herbs fresh and dried in the kitchen. We will review some of the must-have herbs, growing tips, and give ideas as to how to use them to easily enhance your food. Recipes using herbs will be provided, and herbs will be available for sale from the Pharsalia greenhouse.

A catered lunch and class materials are included in fee.

This class is full.
