Hurricane Camille 1969

Join Endstation Theatre Company at Pharsalia Plantation for a special one-night only performance of their original play “The Bluest Water.” The cast performs a reduced version of the performance under the Pharsalia tent in the setting of the play in Nelson County, Virginia.

“The Bluest Water” follows survivors Jared and Liz, fifty years later, as they try to figure out what happened to a friend who lost his family to the storm, as they remember the dead and try to heal from their own wounds. On the 50th anniversary of Hurricane Camille’s landfall in Nelson County, Virginia, “The Bluest Water” honors and remembers those who lost their lives and the first responders who risked their lives to protect those who survived.
