Celebrate spring in our lush cut-flower gardens at Pharsalia. The gardens will be eye candy!
This workshop is for the person with all levels of knowledge on flowers and will include tips on planting peonies as well as harvesting and conditioning other flowers. As you walk the grounds to cut your own flowers from our abundant gardens, some of the varieties may be peonies, baptisias, bupleurum, bishops weed, dianthus, snapdragons, solomons seal, larkspur and more. A few techniques and mechanics of flower arranging will be discussed as well as handouts provided.
Once you have finished cutting, you will create your own one-of-a-kind arrangement to take home and enjoy. This is a very fun activity and no stress is allowed!!
Please bring your own picnic lunch and drink to enjoy on the grounds or under the tent of Pharsalia once you have finished arranging.
Fee for the workshop is $120.00 and will be held rain or shine.
Please bring a clean bucket, clippers and a container or vase to use for your arrangement. A box is also suggested in order to transport your arrangement home. Specially chosen annuals and perennials will be for sale as well as Pharsalia’s favorite clippers.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds will be given to registrants 7 days or fewer from the day of the event.
WEATHER POLICY: Refunds will only be given if we are unable to reschedule the event.
