Murray Buckner will teach this workshop on the “Ins and out” of hydrangeas. His credentials include Architecture to Landscape Architecture to ‘Hydrangea’ farmer 24/7. This talk will include site preparation, planting, fertilizing and pruning as well as information on the pros and cons of different hydrangeas and their flowers.
Murray will provide a hands on experience for each guest on propagating and will have cuttings for everyone to take home.
After his talk, Foxie will instruct on the proper way to cut and hydrate hydrangeas as well as providing already cut and conditioned hydrangeas and other flowers for arranging.
Please bring a bag lunch and drink to enjoy on the grounds of Pharsalia after the workshop is over. You will also need to bring clippers, a vase or container for your arrangement as well as a box to transport your arrangement home.
Murray will have an assortment of hydrangeas for sale and Pharsalia will be selling our favorite clippers.
Cost for the workshop is $110.00.
