The Venue

The historic home, the parlors, porches, canopies of shade trees, and various outbuildings on the property provide many options to customize your event. The vast grounds and gardens at Pharsalia inspire seasonal, fresh floral designs with professional and creative services available to capture your vision. Poolside, on the lawn, overlooking vineyards and orchards, or wherever your desires take you; our aim is to provide a unique space where you can craft your own special day.

The historic Pharsalia home is available for dressing and pre-ceremony traditions. You will also have access to an indoor bar area, the gorgeous cocktail courtyard and our pristine flower and herb gardens where your guests can mingle and take in the majestic mountain views. We only host one wedding a weekend so the focus is on you!

We are also a flower farm and always have beautiful blooms available to buy or have designed in any way you envision. 

SITE AND TENT rental include the following:

  • Ceremony Site

  • Courtyard for Cocktail hour

  • 43’x103’ Tidewater Sailcloth Tent with Custom Fir Side poles and perimeter string lighting ($8,500 value)

  • Clear Sidewall to Surround Tent in Case of Inclement Weather ($800 value)

  • Concrete Floor Under Entire Tent…No Dance Floor Needed ($1,000 plus value)

  • 20’ x 20’ Catering Tent

  • Wooden Benches; 10 of each size available. In 6’& 12’ lengths.

  • 10 Pine Farm Tables ($750 value) Note: We have more tables available at an additional cost.

  • Restrooms

  • Pool Area

  • Gardens

Rentals are for a 5-hour block of event time between 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. Set-up is included prior to the event, and one hour of time past the scheduled end time is allowed for break-down and clean-up. (Additional time may be purchased at a rate of $250/half hour).

Basic Site Rental Packages

Basic site rental includes exclusive use of the site for the day and all amenities.

1-50 guests $ 5,750.00 (another $100.00 for each additional guest up to 75)

76-100 guests $10,000.00

101-150 guests $11,500.00

151-200 guests $12,000.00 (another $100.00 for each additional guest up to 220)

Call or email to make an appointment and learn more about pricing. We do tours (by appointment only) every day of the week unless we have a function so call soon to get on the calendar. Pharsalia loves to entertain however we are a working farm and private home and are not open to the public on a daily basis. We are open by appointment only.
